How not to waste valuable time

I spent a whole day making a wire sculpture frame and somehow did not realise how tiny it was, when complete, until I put it against the first one. I slipped up there. Note to me - "put things together often to compare how work is turning out"! Although the pictures of the first sculpture don't look too bad, in reality there is a good deal of work to be done on it. Therefore, I started doing that today and nearly used up all of the fresh supply of caramel coloured tissue paper in so doing. At end of day I had worked hard, consistently throughout the day and was glad to stop. I realise the proportions could do with a bit of tweeking - which goes against my anti-realism agenda but will give greater credibility to the figure. If I can get more caramel tissue paper I will continue working on it again tomorrow.
