This is day two for making my second paper sculpture on the abject body for the end of year show. The first day consisted of making a tubular paper structure based on my own proportions – measured with a tape measure. This picture shows how I have superimposed the structure with chicken wire to aid construction and positioning of the limbs. I think it currently looks a little like a preying mantis and the figure might be praying but I am not totally decided.
